Buddhist Insights is a non-profit organization connecting monastics with lay-people.

We invite monks and nuns from various Buddhist traditions to offer the gift of the Dhamma in urban centers for designated short periods of times, enabling them to build solid relationships with lay communities without needing to give up the pursuit of living a contemplative life. The Buddhist monastic order is composed of individuals who have dedicated their lives to studying and practicing the Buddha’s teachings, and is therefore a valuable source of highly experienced and knowledgeable Dhamma teachers. Our mission is to make monastic teachings more accessible to the general public.

Complying with ancient Buddhist tradition, Buddhist Insights operates entirely on donations (dāna), through the generosity of its supporters, attendees, and grassroots contributions.
